FAQ
Raw honey questions
Helpful answers for customers who are new to raw local honey, crystallisation, seasonal changes, and local pickup.
What does raw honey mean?+
Raw honey is kept simple and minimally handled. It is not blended into a uniform factory-style product, so each harvest can taste a little different.
Why has my honey crystallised?+
Crystallisation is natural and common in real honey. Place the jar in warm water and stir gently if you prefer it runnier.
Can babies eat honey?+
Honey should not be given to infants under 12 months old. Ask your healthcare professional if you need advice for a child or medical condition.
How do local orders work?+
Send an enquiry with the product and quantity you want. Please wait for confirmation of availability, pickup timing, and payment details before visiting the farm.
Does the flavour change through the year?+
Yes. Raw local honey reflects what is flowering around the bees at the time, so colour, aroma, and flavour can shift between harvests.
